I was created for a purpose; one of love and joy. Wonderfully designed by an Intimate Creator whom all those valued and cherished come from. I am full of sparkle and light and though I am unique, I shine brightest when I am with others. I come with unique external packaging that doesn’t quite describe my internal packaging- though it tries- and I have learned to stand apart by being as close to my external packaging as possible so that what you see is what you get.

Once ready to make my stand and see who will choose to accept me, I embrace the journey and I press into all the possibilities of where I can go. You see, I was designed with a will to go. Far and wide and to shine as bright as I can to as many as possible, to let others receive what they can for as long as I am there.

I know the moment it happens, the one who chooses me to go with them; their eyes are bright and full of sparkle. Their smiles ear to ear and I can feel the warmth in their heart as they gather me in close. Listen to the rhythmic sound of their heart beating, life flowing through them, the reason I am here is to make that so deeply entrenching that they cannot deny it. The desire to have me close by the whole year following, not just during the heavy holiday rushes when expectations of others are mounting and guilt gnaws it’s way in.

The feather light brushing of air flowing in and out of their lungs as life is robust within them. When they take that pause to consider me and place me in a spot of honor and value so highly others question the depths with which they will go to protect me. I wouldn’t dream of being anywhere else than right there with them, will never leave their side.

In this season, It is a given but can go so many ways.
